Woman charged with attempted murder in Halifax stabbing

Jade Louise Cyr has also been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon

A 32-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Halifax Thursday night.

Halifax Regional Police were called to Cunard St. near Gottingen at 7:20 p.m. where they found the victim.

The 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the suspect was arrested at the scene.

Jade Louise Cyr has also been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon. She is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court Friday.
