Halifax Regional Municipality will be enforcing the winter parking ban overnight into Wednesday.

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch, a wind warning and a special weather statement for Halifax.

The nor'easter is expected to bring about 10 cms of snow Tuesday before it switches over to rain overnight, wind gusts could reach 90 km/hr, and 110 km/hr  along parts of the coast.

Vehicles must be moved off municipal streets between 1 and 6 a.m., and HRM says cars can also be ticketed or towed at any time under the province's Motor Vehicle Act if they are blocking snow clearing crews.
