Two men arrested, police investigating shots fired in north-end Dartmouth

No injuries have been reported but police said it appears a vehicle may have been damaged.

HALIFAX - Two men have been arrested and police are investigating after shots were fired in north-end Dartmouth early Thursday morning. 

Police said officers near Lahey Road and Catherine Street heard gunshots around 12:30 a.m. Thursday before watching three men running in the area, one of which had a gun.

No injuries have been reported but police said it appears a vehicle may have been damaged in the incident. 

Two men were arrested separately in the area, according to police, but so far there's no word on charges and police said the investigation is in its early stages.
