Some of the world's most iconic skyscrapers can be seen right here in Halifax, in Lego form.
The Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks exhibit opens at the Discovery Centre Friday.
"Ryan McNaught is the creator of the exhibit," explained marketing director Jennifer Punch. "He and his team have created twenty 14-foot skyscrapers exclusively out of ordinary Lego bricks."
The creations include Chicago's Willis Tower, New York's Empire State Building and China's Shanghai Tower.
"But close to my heart is the CN Tower, which of course is Canada's tallest structure," she told NEWS 95.7's The Sheldon MacLeod Show. "When you get right up close to a miniature version of it, it's really architecturally beautiful to look at."
Punch hopes the exhibit inspires the next generation of architects, engineers and builders.
There will be over 200,000 loose pieces of Lego so visitors old and young can create their own structures.
"All you need to come with is your imagination."
Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks runs until Jan. 4.
