HALIFAX - Regional Police say there was no threat to public safety after a suspicious package was reported in the north-end on Thursday.
Officers responded to the report inside a building near Cornwallis Street and Gottingen Street and the Explosive Disposal Unit was later dispatched to the scene.
Police said it was later deemed the contents of the package were not a public threat.
The investigation is ongoing into where the package came from.
