Snow is in the forecast Thursday as a slow pressure system is expected to impact the Maritimes.

Environment Canada says specific details for the Halifax area should be available Wednesday, however they expect snow across the province with up to 15 cm in some areas.

It has issued a special weather statement.

The 10:45 a.m. Monday update to the advisory says snow should start falling in western Nova Scotia early in the morning, spreading east throughout the day, before ending late afternoon or early evening.
