A small drop in the price for gasoline is expected tonight in Nova Scotia.
That from the president of Canadians for Affordable Energy Dan McTeague who is looking for prices to fall by about one cent per litre at midnight.
McTeague isn't expecting the downward trend in price to last very long.
"Even with the seasonal switchover from summer blends of gasoline to less expensive winter gasoline, I still think we're going to be staying in this price range if not higher during the month of August," he said.
In New Brunswick that province's regulator moved the maximum price for gasoline down by 1.3 cents at midnight to 139.4.
