Robber holds up gas station at gunpoint on Robie St.

Police say the suspect was able to get some cash but there were no injuries to any of the store staff

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a gas station last night at gunpoint.

Officers were called regarding a robbery in progress at the Shell Sas station and Needs store on Robie Street just after 10 p.m.

Multiple police units responded but the suspect got away and ran off toward Clifton Street.

The man is described as being white, in his 20s and about six feet tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a grey hoodie, black face mask, and black pants. 

Police say was able to get some cash but there were no injuries to any of the store staff.
