Prices down at the pumps heading into the weekend

Drivers in Nova Scotia are paying less for gasoline Friday morning.

Provincially-regulated prices fell by 9-10ths of a cent at midnight, dropping the minimum price to 126.1.

Diesel prices, however, are up Friday morning. The price for fuel climbing by 1.6 cents to 134.

At this time last year we were paying 1.05 for gas, 1.06 for diesel. Oil was trading at $51.21 U.S. per barrel, just over $20 less than Thursday's closing price of $71.85.
