Police seek suspects who tried to rob woman at gunpoint

A woman was assaulted before crying out for help, prompting the suspects to flee the area

HALIFAX - Regional Police are on the hunt for two suspects who tried to rob a woman at gunpoint in Dartmouth late Tuesday night. 

Police said a woman was locking up a business in the 300 block of Windmill Road just after 10:30 p.m. when she was approached by two men, one of them masked and armed with a gun.

The woman was assaulted before crying out for help, police said, prompting the two suspects to flee the area. 

The victim was treated at the QEII for non-life threatening injuries and police continue to look for the suspects. 

They're both described as white, standing around six-feet tall, with one of the men wearing a plastic mask, black pants and a black hoodie. 

The second suspect was wearing a black hoodie.
