Police search for suspect after robbery in Halifax's Hydrostone Market

Regional police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that happened on Thursday afternoon in Halifax's north end. 

Police said at about 1:45 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into the L.K. Yarns store in the Hydrostone Market on Young St., and threatened staff with a knife. 

There were no injuries reported, and the suspect ran off toward Novalea Dr. 

The suspect is described as a white man with a dark complexion, standing about 5'6". His face was covered by a bandana, and he was wearing blue jeans and a long black winter jacket with brown fur trim.

Anyone with information is asked to call police, or Crime Stoppers.
