Police search for suspect after gas station robbed on Bayers Road

Halifax Regional Police are looking for the man responsible in a robbery at a gas station last night in Halifax. 

Police say a man walked into the Petro-Can on Bayers Road after 10 p.m., and demanded cash from the employee.

the suspect made off on foot with cigarettes. Police say the employee wasn't hurt and no weapons were seen. 

The suspect is described as a man in his 30's, standing about 5 foot 7 with a stocky build.

He was wearing a blue medical mask, gloves, a grey hoodie, grey jogging pants and brown shoes with white soles. he was carrying a green resusable bag. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
