Police investigate apartment robbery in Dartmouth

HALIFAX - Regional police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Dartmouth residence Friday evening.

At 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at an apartment on Victoria Road, where a male and a female suspect entered and were confronted by the tenant.

The suspects then assaulted the tenant and fled on foot with a laptop, debit card and medication. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspects were eventually located a short time later.

A 46 year old male and a 59 year old female, both from Dartmouth, are each charged with robbery and will appear in court on Tuesday.
