Halifax Regional Police say a man wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant may be in Nova Scotia.

Jamal Morris, 31, is wanted in Hamilton, Ontario on charges of assault, sexual assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and choking to overcome resistance.

Hamilton Police Service say it's in relation to an ongoing investigation between February 2018 and October 2018.

They say a person was taken to hospital with injuries and they believe the incidents were targeted.

Hamilton police aren't releasing further information to protect other parties involved.

If Morris is spotted, police say don't approach him, just call 911.
