A Windsor man is facing several charges after East Hants District RCMP say he crashed a stolen pickup truck.

On Wednesday, they got a tip that the truck was heading south on Highway 102 and they spotted it just before 1 p.m.

Mounties say the driver was speeding, got off the highway at Exit 8, then lost control of the truck at a sharp turn on Highway 14.

Justin Gray, 24, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital by EHS for minor injuries.

He will be in court Monday facing charges of possession of stolen property under $5,000, failing to stop for police, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
