Halifax expected to see up to 10 cm of snow on Thursday

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, calling for up to 10 cm of snow in Halifax

Snow is on the way for Halifax on Thursday. 

As of 4 p.m., Environment Canada's hourly forecast indicates snow should start falling in Halifax at around 7 a.m.

Between 5 and 10 cm is expected in the municipality, which should taper off to flurries by evening.

According to the special weather statement, most parts of the province should get amounts near 10 cm.
