Gas prices up 2.4 cents overnight

Another increase in the price for gasoline overnight.

The provincial regulator using it's weekly adjustment to raise the minimum price for regular self serve by 2.4 cents to 122.5.

A smaller increase in the price for diesel with those fuel prices rising by 1.2 cents to 114.9.

12 months ago drivers were paying 1.27 for gasoline, 1.23 for diesel.

Oil was trading at $70.23 us per barrel, just over 9 dollars more than yesterday's closing price of $60.60.
