Gas prices fall in Nova Scotia as summer driving season nears end

Drivers are paying less to fill up their tanks Friday morning.

Provincially regulated prices fell by 2.8 cents at midnight, dropping the minimum price to 124.3.

For a third week in a row diesel prices remain unchanged, with the price for fuel remaining at 120.9.

At this time last year we were paying 1.08 for gasoline and one dollar for a litre of diesel.

Oil traded at $48.28 U.S. per barrel, almost $19 less than Thursday's closing price of $66.63.
