Look for a jump at the pump heading into the weekend.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices says oil prices reacted this week to a growing conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

"The crown prince is talking about further conflict with Iran and that's raised a lot of eyebrows on the markets, particularly noticeable since Friday when he first made comments about that," said Murphy. "So that's weighed heavily on the markets this week."

Across the border in New Brunswick prices climbed by 3.3 cents to a new maximum price of 119.3.
