Driver ticketed after pedestrian hit in Halifax

A 54-year-old Halifax man has been ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk

Halifax Regional Police say a woman has been taken to hospital by EHS for non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a truck Wednesday morning.

They were called to the corner of Almon and Windsor streets at around 10:45 a.m.

A 54-year-old Halifax man has been ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
