The latest bout of spring-like weather has given city crews a chance to repair hundreds of potholes around Halifax Regional Municipality.
The city says crews repaired 188 potholes last week, and now they're on track to triple that this week. According to city spokesperson Brynn Budden, crews have repaired 274 potholes this week and are likely to repair roughly 600 by the end of the week.
She tells NEWS 95.7 the warm weather played a large factor in the recent jump in productivity. Budden says road operation crews monitor pot holes throughout the year, adding they also rely heavily on residents to report potholes.
