ORIGINAL STORY:

If you need to drive across the harbour this weekend, you'll need to take the Macdonald.

There's another MacKay Bridge closure scheduled to take place.

Halifax Harbour Bridges says the span will shut down at 7 p.m. Friday, July 23 and it's not expected to reopen until 5:30 a.m. Monday, July 26.

Crews will be resurfacing the Dartmouth approach spans.

More full shutdowns of the MacKay are expected throughout August and September.
