NEWS RELEASE
HALIFAX PUBLIC LIBRARIES
*************************
By July 7, all branches of Halifax Public Libraries will open again to the public.

"We are pleased to open our doors and see our community members once again," said Åsa Kachan, CEO and Chief Librarian. "While we continued library services in new and innovative ways during the closure of our physical locations, we are looking forward to welcoming our community back to their Libraries. We have missed seeing you!"

Each library location will open when the facility is ready to provide a safe visiting experience. Your Library visit may look different as there will be limited services
 and hours.

In addition, by Tuesday, June 23, all library branch Book Drops will be open to accept the return of physical items.

In the days to come, community members are invited to check the Library's website for their local library's open date and hours.
