DIEPPE, N.B. — RCMP say two men were sent to hospital after a shooting at a strip club in Dieppe, N.B., overnight.

Police say they responded to a report of gunshots at Angie's on Champlain Street just after 2 a.m.

Two men, aged 25 and 32, were sent to hospital with gunshot wounds.

Sgt. Matt Roy says one of the men has since been released, while the other was still being treated Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the suspected shooter had left the scene by the time officers arrived.

Roy says the shooting is not believed to have been a random act, but it's also not believed to be linked to other recent crimes in the area.
