Derek Gentile and Daniel Hardie also scored for Charlottetown (29-20-4), which was down 2-1 heading into the third.

Samuel Houde and Vincent Tremblay-Lapalme had goals for the Sagueneens (22-25-4).

Islanders goaltender Dakota Lund-Cornish turned aside 22 shots. Chicoutimi's Alexis Shank made 35 saves.
