Newfoundland and Labrador reports no new COVID-19 cases on Monday

Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, chief medical officer of health, says one person is still in hospital due to the virus.

There are three active COVID-19 cases in the province, and 255 people have recovered.

Three people have died from the virus in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The province had tested 12,253 people as of Monday.

Fitzgerald says people should continue to stay home as much as possible and continue to take preventive measures like physical distancing to stop the virus from spreading.
