Health officials report one new travel-related case of COVID-19 in New Brunswick

FREDERICTON — New Brunswick is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today. Health officials say the new case involves a person in their 40s in the Fredericton region who travelled outside the country.

FREDERICTON — New Brunswick is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

Health officials say the new case involves a person in their 40s in the Fredericton region who travelled outside the country.

There are currently 39 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 

Four people are in hospital with the disease and none are in intensive care.

Officials are also warning about possible exposure to the novel coronavirus at the Fit 4 Less gym on Main Street in Moncton.

They say anyone who visited that gym between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on October 23, 24 or 25 should self-monitor for symptoms.
