Adopt Me: Sweet Sasha is waiting for her purr-fect retirement home

Due to Sasha's medical history she is part of the palliative care program, so the SPCA will provide the medical care for the rest of her life

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

*Palliative care candidate looking for a retirement home*

Sasha is a 13-year-old kitty looking for her furever home. The best suited home for her is one without any other animals. She loves her toys, especially when they are covered in cat nip. It can take a few days for her to warm up to you, so patience is key with her but its so worth it in the end!

Sasha dose have spondylosis, arthritis and has had a seizures in her foster home so that is something we will ask you to continue to monitor if you fall in love with her.

Due to Sasha's medical history, she is part of our palliative care program where her new furever family provides the love, home, and food and the Dartmouth SPCA will provide the medical care for the rest of her life, as well she will be needing annual vet visits here at the Dartmouth SPCA to monitor her blood work and keep her supplied with her pain medication (provided by the SPCA).

Sasha is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA, Interested in adopting? Read the next steps in the adoption process here:

Please note we are not open for visitors so to meet me you must follow this online process to schedule an appointment.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
