Adopt Me: Sweet Jasmine

She is looking for a quiet home with no small children

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet Jasmine, a 13-year-old kitty who is looking for the purr-fect retirement home.

Jasmine came into our care when her owners could no longer look after her. She is a timid but sweet lady that would do best in a home with no small children.

She did live with other cats but we are unsure how she felt about them.

Warmer weather brings different struggles for shelter animals. All shelter cats are exposed to an upper respiratory infection during their time with us, as it is a viral infection. They may simply continue to be exposed or they could show signs of URI in our care. At this time we have cats currently being treated for URI.

It is highly recommended that if you are to adopt, that shelter cat is separated from owned cats for 2 weeks to ensure existing pets at home stay healthy and your new family member can recover fully from their kitty cold!

Jasmine is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA, Interested in adopting? Read the next steps in the adoption process here:

Please note we are not open for visitors so to meet me you must follow this online process to schedule an appointment.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
