Adopt Me: Sweet Ginger is looking for a patient owner

She is blind so she would need a home with little or no stairs

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Ginger is a 13-year-old spayed female labrador retriever mix. She would prefer a home with children 16 years and older, and she would love to be the only dog in the home.

This sweet girl is looking for a quiet home to spend her days soaking up all the attention she deserves. Ginger is blind and will need a patient home who is willing to take the time and help her adjust to a new environment.

She does not do well with stairs so she would prefer a home with none or little amount of stairs. She does enjoy a good belly rub and loves attention.

Ginger also really enjoys her food so don't get in between her and her food or she might run you over for it! She has a big heart with lots of love to give so come meet Ginger today!

Ginger is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please use the following link and follow the steps to submit an application and request an appointment:
