Adopt Me: Princess the Greyhound/Amstaff mix

Due to her temperament she will be suitable in a home with children 10 years of age and older

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

There is nothing sweeter than this girl, Princess. If you are looking for a friendly and easy-going girl, you have found her. She is used to living with other dogs, but we are unsure of how she will interact with cats.

Princess is believed to be a Greyhound/Amstaff mix.

Due to her temperament we feel that she will be suitable in a home with children 10 years of age and older.

Princess has a condition that causes her to loose muscle mass in her head as well as TMJ ( TMJ disorders - a type of temporomandibular disorder or TMD - can cause pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement.)

Due to these conditions Princess is our new Palliative Care Candidate! At this time she is looking to have her food softened or have canned dog food to help with her TMJ.

Princess does not let this stop her at all! She has a fair amount of energy and loves to play around the yard.

Princess is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or click here.
