Adopt Me: Little Miss Emily

She is happy to share her house with dogs but would prefer to be the only cat

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Miss Emily is a quiet petite eight-year-old ginger tabby who will steel your heart immediately. When she is first introduced to a new place she is cautious and very shy and will hide under blankets until she has the opportunity to properly survey her new surroundings.

When she decides she is safe and secure, she instantly shows you her affectionate and gentle personality and will head butt and nudge for scritches and pets.

She rolls over on her back for tummy rubs and loves to relax cuddled next to her people. When she wants attention she will gently tap your hand with her paw to say "pet me please".

Miss Emily is happy to share her house with dogs but when it comes to her people she is not to keen to share with other cats so she is best as the only cat in the household.

Emily is currently in a foster home and available for adoption through the Dartmouth SPCA. For more information on her email or call 902-468-7877 option 6.
