Adopt Me: How can you say no to that face?

Sweet Cooper is in the palliative care program as he does have some medical concerns

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Cooper is a spunky 11-year-old Beagle mix who's fallen on hard times. He doesn't let that discourage him though!

Handsome Cooper is looking for a home with children no younger than 12 and no cats. As most Beagles do, Cooper follows his nose through life. This means he may try to sneak into cupboards when you're looking away.

At dinner time, you may see his nose peaking over the table at you. It's not his fault though, it's in his DNA.

Cooper is in our palliative care program as he does have some medical concerns. He has a heart murmur. He also has some ongoing ear infections that we treat with medication provided by the SPCA.

This guy would love a home with a nice deck to lounge on during beautiful sunny days. Cooper can also be quite vocal (it's the Beagle in him) so a house would better suit him to an apartment or condo. He enjoys going out for short walks and cuddling on the couch.

If you've been looking for a laid back Beagle to welcome into your family, Cooper is your guy!

Cooper is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or click here.
