Adopt Me: Homer wants a home for Christmas

Obedience is an optional choice for his new owner(s)

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Homer is a seven-year-old neutered male amstaff mix. He would prefer a home with children 16 years and older. Obedience is an optional choice for his new owner(s).

Homer is a sweet and loving dog looking for a quite home. He is a low key guy who wants nothing more than to spend his days curled up in a bed with big fluffy blankets.

This guy is all about comfort! Its not uncommon to find him buried in blankets snoozing the day away. He has lots of personality and loves to tell you what is on his mind so he would appreciate having someone home most of the time in case he has exciting news to share.

Homer loves his treats so I think this is an older dog that could certainly learn some new tricks.

Homer is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or click here.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
