Adopt Me: Gunner is a hopeless romantic

He would prefer a home with children 12 and older, and to be the only pet

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Gunner is a six-year-old neutered male amstaff mix. He would prefer a home with children 12 years and older, and obedience is an optional choice for his new owner(s).

Gunner is hoping to find someone to play fetch with him and then have a nice nap. He is a hopeless romantic who would enjoy long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners, ending with a kitchen dance party.

He is such a happy boy who loves everybody he meets. He is a bit overweight so a low calorie food would be best to help him get back into shape so he can play even more! Being a bit older, Gunner has decided that he would like to be the only pet in the home so he can be your #1 guy.

Gunner is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or click here.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
