Adopt Me: Andi can be shy at first

She would probably be best suited for a quieter household without children

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Andi is a two-year-old girl available for adoption from her foster home, and they have the following to say about her:

"Andi is a super sweet girl! She loves head scratches and will sit with you and purr for hours.

She can be a little timid with new people, but once she's determined they aren't a threat to her, she is super friendly. She loves to lie down on your chest while you're watching TV or laying in bed, receiving her head scratches and purring to her hearts content.

She can definitely be a little shy sometimes, but she just wants love and adores being pet.

I'd say she'd probably be best suited for a quieter household without children, simply because quick movements can really frighten her. But if she's in the right environment, she's a total sweetheart."

Andi is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or click here.
